The Newspaper Comic section of the SFACA collection consists of approximately 2.5 million clippings and tearsheets from American newspapers, dating from 1894 to 1996. Materials in the collection include clipped comic strips, single comic pages, complete Sunday comic sections, and entire newspapers. Complete day-by-day holdings of 750 comic features are presented, along with a representative image of each feature, available from the electronic finding aid.
